REAVET Chopped Willow Bark for Horses

Willow bark, obtained from the silver willow (Salix alba), is rich in secondary plant substances such as glucoside salicin, polyphenols, flavonoids and tannins. Willow bark infusion fed to horses naturally supports their vitality and agility, especially in older horses.

Feeding recommendation:
To make an infusion, add 5 g of willow bark to a cup of hot water. Steep for 10 minutes and feed lukewarm. To increase acceptance, this amount can be mixed into hay cobs or mash.

For horses & ponies (per 100 kg body weight) 5 g daily.
1 measuring cup corresponds to 25 g.

Note:
The use of willow bark is generally not recommended for mares who are pregnant or lactating.
