This special composition includes thyme, eucalyptus, mint, fennel, sage and star anise essential oils. The oils encourage the dissolution of mucous when they are inhaled. By rubbing the salve on the horse's nostrils, the horse breathes in the helpful ingredients. A protective film stays on the nostrils like a second skin and protects them from external influences.
