Description
This complementary feed provides horses with organic selenium in the form of L-selenomethionine and natural vitamin E. The yeast-free formula is also suitable for horses with a yeast sensitivity.
Selenium is an essential trace element that horses need to obtain through their daily diet. It is an important component of the body's own antioxidant system and supports normal muscle function. Natural vitamin E helps protect cells from oxidative stress and contributes to the normal function of muscles and tissue. Together, these two nutrients form a balanced combination to support normal muscular performance.
An adequate supply of selenium and vitamin E is particularly important for sport horses in training, growing foals, and pregnant or lactating mares. Selenium is also involved in normal reproductive function. As many soils are naturally low in selenium, supplementation in the daily diet can often be beneficial.
The composition is rounded off with inulin and aronia berries. Aronia naturally provides vitamin C and vitamin E, as well as polyphenols and flavonoids. It gives the powder a natural antioxidant profile and a pleasant taste.
