Description
What is the blue colour of this bit all about? The blue layer is made of Sweet Iron. When it comes into contact with air and moisture, it oxidises, adding a sweet tasting layer of rust to the bit. This makes it easier for horses to accept.
- The rust can be wiped off of the bit using a damp cloth.
