The active ingredient L-carnitine is a vital, vitamin-amino acid-like substance, which has a very important key position in the release of energy and the burning of carbohydrates and fatty acids in the horse's body. L-carnitine transports the long-chain fatty acids into the muscle cells, which rely on this fuel in order to achieve optimal performance. L-carnitine occurs in small amounts in all muscle cells of the horse and is used there to a greater or lesser extent depending on the workload (training/competition).
Through intensive training or during the tournament, the muscle can usually no longer be supplied with enough L-carnitine. The result is a constant lack of carnitine, which means that the horse's organism loses its ability to burn fat reserves. STARHORSE® Carnitine Horseperformer interrupts this cycle by constantly supplying the muscles with sufficient L-Carnitine. The ability to burn fat and the willingness of the muscles to perform are retained and are even promoted. STARHORSE® Carnitine Horseperformer protects the horse's own energy stores and supports regeneration after hard training or competitions.
STARHORSE® Carnitine Horseperformer can contribute to lowering the lactic acid content in the muscles thanks to its excellent composition.
Only pure carnitine is used in STARHORSE® Carnitine Horseperformer. Low-quality raw materials such as carnitine tartrate can hardly or not at all be absorbed by the horse's organism and are therefore guaranteed not to be used in STARHORSE® Carnitine Horseperformer.
Since our products have been used in top equestrian sport for years, it is of the highest priority for us to guarantee our customers 100% doping-free product quality.
