Western horses have a compact, muscular build and are known for remaining calm, even in stressful situations such as competitions. They therefore require feed that reflects their specific nutritional requirements.

This recipe contains a moderate grain content, plenty of fibre, and selected grain germs in combination with essential amino acids such as lysine and methionine.

Supporting your horse's physique:

Breeds such as Quarter Horses and Appaloosas have a higher proportion of muscle mass in relation to body weight than other horse breeds. It is therefore particularly important to ensure that their diet includes the nutrients required for healthy muscle maintenance.

NutriStar has been developed to help meet the energy needs of these breeds through high-quality proteins, fermentable pectins, oleiferous fruits, and oils.

Feeding recommendation:

• As a supplement to basic feed consisting of roughage and/or pasture grass.
• When fed in quantities of approximately 300-600 g per 100 kg of body weight per day, no additional mineral supplementation is necessary.
• The total daily amount should be divided into several smaller feeds.
• In cases of lower dosage or nutritional deficiencies, the manufacturer recommends the addition of SemperMin or MicroVital.
• 1 litre is equivalent to 600 g.

Feeding instructions:

• Due to the higher content of vitamins and trace elements compared to complete feeds, this complementary feed may only comprise up to 54.6% of the horse's total daily ration (including hay).
