Description

Western horses such as Quarter, Appaloosa, Paints or other breeds originally bred for work on cattle are muscled for genetic reasons. At the same time, they are often very good feed converters. The feed concept must therefore be geared to a moderate supply of energy on the one hand, and to the supply of particularly muscle-relevant nutrients on the other.
If the needs are not met according to these requirements, bones, tendons, ligaments and joints compete for the remaining nutrients. This can lead to a shortage situation with early signs of wear and tear in the long term.

High-quality proteins
St. Hippolyt NutriStar is based on the supply of high-quality proteins with overall moderate protein content. The finest cold-pressed seed and seed oils, herbs and dried apples are particularly valuable components of easily digestible muesli, which has also proven itself in training, especially young horses.

Only nutritionally well-thought-out mineralisation enables the incorporation of important coenzymes into the enzyme system of stressed muscle metabolism.

Feeding recommendation:
Depending on the work requirements, body weight and individual feed conversion 1 - 4 kg per day. From 2kg per day, the mineral and vitamin requirements are covered. A higher energy requirement can be covered with additional concentrated feed.
