Description

This muesli for pregnant and nursing mares contains a balanced ratio of protein, plant substances, oils and amino acids. In addition, the müsli also contains all the important minerals, trace elements and vitamins pregnant and nursing mares need. Brewer's yeast seedlings and numerous nutrients from the ocean complete the recipe. This muesli provides mares and foals with the best possible support and nutrients.

The popular feed was developed based on many years of experience in thoroughbred breeding and is suitable for all horse breeds. It is recommended to switch to EquiLac at the beginning of the last trimester of pregnancy.

Feeding recommendation:

Use as a supplement to your horses' daily basic feed with roughage and/or pasture grass. Start to slowly replace your horse's fodder with EquiLac around the 8th month of pregnancy.

When to use	Daily ration	Further information
9th-11th month of pregnancy	approx. 400-500 g per 100 kg of body weight per day	Divide the total ration into several smaller portions. Adjust the accordingly by approx. 10-15% for horses with light or high energy needs. If necessary, you can also feed your horse oats with this feed. Feeding EquiLac as the sole fodder feed is recommended for special breeds, ponies and horses with high nutrient needs.
1st-3rd month of nursing	Increase EquiLac to up to 600 g per 100 kg body weight and day	Expect the highest yield of milk during this period.
from the 5th month of nursing	Gradually reduce EquiLac	Stop feeding the broodmare feed when the foal is weaned.

Feeding Advice:

Only this supplementary feed for 33.3% of your horse's daily ration (including hay) due to the higher content of vitamins and trace elements compared to complete feed. Please follow the recommended use.
