Allows direct and accurate action in the horse's mouth. Pressure is mainly applied to the edges of the tongue and the lower jaws - sensitive areas are little or no stress. This makes it very suitable for horses with sensitive mouths.

A single-jointed bridle is mainly beneficial for horses with active mouths, which are easily distracted by the double-jointed version and therefore do not pay sufficient attention to the commands.
