REAVET Elm Bark Plus for Cats, 50 g

Elm bark is rich in tannins, bitter substances and mucilage and is known for its support for the stomach and intestines. This formulation combines elm bark with psyllium husks which results in a very mucilaginous feed supplement once prepared. This provides the optimal support for balanced digestion and the gastrointestinal tract.

Elm Bark Plus by REAVET contains the inner bark layer of the American red elm tree which is ground to a fine powder. Red elm has mucilage-forming substances that can support the mucous membranes that line the inner wall of the stomach and intestines. On contact with water, the powder turns into a thick, mucous-y syrup which covers the mucous membranes like a film and helps harmonise the natural function of the stomach and intestines.

Preparation:
Mix 1 g (= 2 heaped measuring spoons) Elm Bark Plus with around 50 ml hot water 15 minutes before feeding. Mix the recommended amount into the regular food ration.

Feeding recommendation:
1 g prepared syrup per day (1 heaped measuring spoon = 0.5 g syrup)
