Description
RiceBran, a grain and molasses free formula, is high in concentrated energy and protein. The mix contains a high content of oil and starch. Using rice bran as a source of starch slowly, steadily releases energy and glucose.
The formula is heat treated to stabilise it, which is why RiceBran is a 100% natural feed. The gentle heat treatment is important because rice bran contains a lot of oil. The high oil content also contributes to a beautiful and shiny coat.
Another highlight in the manufacturing process is that the rice is mechanically husked without the use of calcium carbonate. This does not affect the calcium/phosphorus ratio, which in turn means that RiceBran is 100% natural.

- Recreational horses with increased performance needs (e.g. going for longer or more frequent rides)
- Sport horses that require slow-release (sustained) energy
- Older horses that need extra energy (calories) and protein
