Feeding guidance & notes:
- 1 litre marstall Senior Active = approx. 400 grams.
- The recommendations are generally based on a roughage intake of at least 1.5 kg hay per 100 kg body weight per day.
- The stated feed amounts should be divided into at least 2 portions throughout the day.
- For horses that eat too quickly, horses that are protective over feed or horses with dental difficulties, it is recommended to feed Senior Active soaked. For example, pour 1.0 litre of warm or cold water over 1.0 litre of Senior Active and leave to soak for 15 minutes.
marstall Senior Active has been developed for the nutritional needs of older horses. This grain-free conditioning muesli helps support body condition and provides high-quality, easy-to-digest amino acids as part of the daily protein supply. The fibre-rich recipe also encourages chewing. Selected fibres, such as mannan-oligosaccharides (MOS), and beta-glucans from brewer’s yeast cell walls, help complement the daily ration.
This senior muesli also contains valuable vitamins, including vitamin A and vitamin E, as well as essential trace elements such as zinc, copper, manganese and selenium. These trace elements are included in organic form for good bioavailability. The recipe contains no grain, molasses or lucerne, making it suitable for older horses with special nutritional requirements. If required, or for horses with dental difficulties, the muesli can be quickly and easily soaked to create a softer meal.
