Description
Fatigue, low perfomance and waning resistance are common side effects of a tough tournament season. Reformat uses a sophisticated combination of vitamins, bulk and trace elements as well as quickly available carbohydrates to quickly and specifically replenish reserves that have been used up.
The coordinated amounts of vitamins A, D3, E and C as well as the ß-carotene strengthen the immune system and support bone formation and healthy muscle function. The trace elements stimulate numerous enzymatic functions in energy and muscle metabolism, promote the formation of red blood pigment (important for the transport of oxygen to the muscles) and can thus have a positive influence on regeneration.
Reformat is also rich in B vitamins, which are also involved in a wide variety of metabolic processes (e.g. carbohydrate, fat and cell metabolism). Since horses are not able to store these vitamins very well, it is extremely sensible to take supplement them in their feed- especially during and after stressful situations.
Feeding recommendation (per day):
- Sport horses: 100 g / 100 kg body weight
- Broodmares: 4 weeks at the beginning of the mating season and in the first 6 weeks of gestation 200 g / 100 kg body weight
- Stallions: During the breeding season 100 - 200 g / 100 kg body weight
- Foals and weaning horses: 100 - 200 g total
