Description
This leather stud guard has a sophisticated attachment system for the breastplate. The safety stick was developed so that the breastplate can be quickly detached from the saddle belt if need be.
Important details:
- The system is only triggered when the breastplate is pulled down, so it cannot come loose in the event of a large jump or when the saddle is moved backwards.
- The shape of the accompanying safety stick makes the system compatible with most breastplates.
- The anatomical design of the guard allows free movement of the front legs and distributes pressure evenly while providing effective protection against kicks.
Instructions for attaching and removing the safety piece:
Attaching:
The safety stick is pushed into the mechanism on the safety stud guard until it clicks. When you hear the click you know that the stick has been securely and correctly attached.
Removing:
First push the stick away from the guard to unlock the mechanism. Then it can be pulled out.
(This allows the breastplate to come off if the horse gets its hoof caught in it, for example, but it does not come off during higher jumps.)
