Starhorse Chondroitin Plus, 750 g

Chondroitin and glucosamine (GAGs) are the most well-known nutrients for joints. Working in synergy, they provide essential support for the function and resilience of joint cartilage. Due to increased physical demands - common in performance horses - or the natural wear and tear associated with ageing, a horse's internal supply of these nutrients may become insufficient, often leading to accelerated joint degradation. To support regeneration of cartilage, it is essential to provide the body with targeted, joint-supporting substances.

STARHORSE® Chondroitin Plus contains, among other things, the extracts chondroitin sulfate and glucosamine sulfate that can support cartilage.

Note on quality:
To ensure a truly premium Chondroitin product, the quality of the raw material is paramount. STARHORSE® utilises Chondroitin sourced exclusively from shark cartilage. Cheaper alternatives often derived from bovine sources or pig trachea rarely produce the desired effect, as the horse's body struggles to efficiently absorb this low-quality ingredient.

Feeding recommendation* (horse weighing approximately 600kg):

• Horses with minor problems: 15 g once daily
• Horses with acute problems: 30 g once daily
• Foals and young horses approximately 50% of the above-mentioned amount
