Ideal climatic conditions, grassy areas rich in species and a gentle harvest and production process form the basis of the Palatin hay cobs.

High-quality roughage
The roughage is still the basis of the daily and wholesome horse nutrition. Therefore it is all the more important to pay attention to particularly good quality. High-quality hay stimulates natural bowel function and supports a functioning metabolism. Good hay is also an absolute treat for horses and at the same time a sensible pastime.

In the composition of the Palatin Heucobs, particular attention was paid to the low fructan content of the grass species and the harvest time was specifically chosen late in the harvest year. The Palatin Heucobs can therefore be classified as low glycemic.
To supplement small or poor quality heurations or as a hay substitute, Palatin Heucobs are almost free of mould, mites, dust and dirt.

Palatin hay cobs are particularly suitable for:

  • The upgrading of the forage ration
  • Poor-fed and lean horses
  • Old horses
  • Horses with tooth loss
  • Dust allergy sufferers
  • Medication administration
  • To compensate for an undersupply of crude fibre

Soften 1kg of Palatin Heucobs with around 1.5 - 3 litres of water. The cobs disintegrate after a few minutes. Swelling phase around 20 minutes.

Feeding recommendation:

  • As an alternative to basic feed: 1.2 - 1.5kg per 100kg body weight per day
  • To upgrade the basic forage: adjust the amount to the basic forage supply
