marstall Senior Plus is a high-quality conditioning muesli with grain, developed for older horses and horses with increased nutritional requirements.

Feeding guidance & notes:
- 1 litre marstall Senior Plus = approx. 480 grams.
- The recommendations are generally based on a roughage intake of at least 1.5 kg hay per 100 kg body weight per day.
- The stated feed amounts should be divided into at least 2 portions throughout the day.
- Tip: Senior Plus can be fed dry or moistened as a mash.
Older horses often have different nutritional needs, including an increased requirement for energy and protein. marstall Senior Plus is designed to complement the daily feeding routine of senior horses and horses with higher nutritional demands. It contains hydrothermally processed grain flakes, which provide energy in an easy-to-digest form. Protein-rich ingredients such as brewer’s yeast, linseed meal and pea flakes help support the daily protein supply. Linseed also provides valuable omega-3 fatty acids, while carrot flakes and apple pomace contribute fibre and naturally occurring nutrients.
To complete the nutrient profile, the muesli is enriched with a B-vitamin complex, vitamin C and increased levels of trace elements such as copper, zinc, iodine and selenium. The feed is well accepted by many horses, including fussy eaters, and is suitable for senior horses as well as horses of other ages with increased nutritional requirements. For horses with dental difficulties, the muesli can be soaked in warm water and combined with meadow cobs as part of an adapted feeding plan.
