Description
Könighöfer molasses is a natural by-product of sugar beet processing. Naturally rich in sucrose (30-50%) (a disaccharide from fructose and glucose). It retains the naturally occurring essential minerals and trace elements found in sugar beet that are typically removed during refined sugar production.
Molasses has a relatively high content of potassium and sodium: (K around 35 g/kg and Na around 6 g/kg).
This high-energy supplement is very palatable and is traditionally used to encourage feed intake.
The natural betaine content is approximately 3%, though this may vary based on the raw material harvest.
Feeding Recommendation:
50-100 ml per day.
Suitable as an aid in dust control in feed and to encourage feed intake in:
- ruminants
- pigs
- horses
Note: As this is a natural product, nutritional values may vary slightly between batches.
