Kerstin Mohapp

Our Equus Vitalis Ambassador

We are very happy to introduce you to our Equus Vitalis Ambassador: Kerstin Mohapp.

Kerstin has been successful in equestrian sports for many years and knows countless tournament venues in Austria and abroad. Together with her parents, she runs a small, beautiful private stable in southeast Styria. We brought Kerstin to our team because she not only masters the "balancing act" between work, everyday life and equestrian sport perfectly, but also sees the importance of putting the animal first. With her, the horses can really still be horses and dash over the lush meadows of their paddocks every day.

How did you get into riding
My grandparents had a farm and there have always been horses there. My parents used to be enthusiastic recreational riders. I rode a pony on my own at the age of 3.

What do your horses mean to you?
My horses are not sports equipment for me, but partners with whom I achieve my goals, together.

Do you have former athletic companions who have a special place in your heart?
My successful horse Tiara has unfortunately been in horse heaven since the beginning of 2019, with her I was able to achieve a lot of sporting successes from the youth class to the general class. My horse First Sensation is 20 years old and enjoys horse boarding in our paddocks.

How do you manage everyday life & equestrian sports?
My parents do all the management at home: Stable work, bringing horses to the paddock, feeding and everything that arises for the benefit of our horses.

What are your goals for the next few years?
To start successfully in class M.

Who is the person/team behind you?
My parents and my friend, it would not be possible to practice this sport without them. I can concentrate completely on my horses during training.

What makes your sport so unique to you?
The relationship between rider and horse is unique to me.

We are very pleased that Kerstin is now part of the Equus Vitalis Ambassador Team and we wish her and her horses good health and success for the future!
