Frequently recurring colic, heavy, firm droppings, anxiety, sensitivity to the weather, cardiovascular problems, thirstiness, excessive sweating and muscle tension can be an indication of a magnesium deficiency. No. 7 Fountain of Youth is a highly efficient combination of magnesium citrate, special antioxidant herbs, natural vitamin E, as well as green tea and grape seed extract.
Magnesium citrate as an efficient source of magnesium
No. 7 Fountain of Youth supplements magnesium deficiencies with highly bioavailable, gentle and efficient magnesium citrate. The citrate form of magnesium is considered to be quickly available and very well tolerated by the body. The weak citric acid is a natural base for restoring a healthy pH in the body.
Embedded in a cell-protecting herbal formulation
The magnesium tri-citrate is embedded in a specially designed herbal blend made from hawthorn, galangal, rosemary, gingko and lemon balm. The combination with natural vitamin E, green tea extract and grape seeds results in a highly efficient nutritional supplement for horses that is particularly rich in antioxidant nutrients. These include oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPC), catechins (anthocyanidins), polyphenols and quercetin. These are able to efficiently trap free radicals and thus protect the cells.
Grape seeds and linseeds also provide the horse with omega-3 fatty acids, which have been scientifically proven to be important for the cardiovascular system. In contrast to the synthetic vitamin E commonly used in animal feed, natural vitamin E is characterised by the fact that it can be detected in the periphery and stays in the blood for a very long time. This high availability is already evident in moderate quantities. Synthetic vitamin E is only 50% effective (Schmidt and Schmidt, "Guide to Micronutrients", Verlag Urban and Fischer 2004).
The supplement is free from binding agents, flavourings and additives. The citrate form of magnesium and the use of exclusively natural vitamin E make it an excellent magnesium supplement.
Feeding recommendation:
