Description
CdG Zinc is a complementary feed for horses featuring high-quality zinc in chelated form. This trace element is present as a glycine chelate and is bound to amino acids. This structure is very similar to the natural form found in plants. This helps make the zinc highly bioavailable for the horse's body.
Zinc is an essential part of the daily diet. It is involved in normal metabolic processes, including the formation of proteins and collagen. A balanced zinc supply also supports the normal structure of the skin, coat, mane and hooves.
The carrot powder it contains provides natural beta-carotene. This is a precursor of vitamin A and supports the normal nutrient supply of the skin and mucous membranes. As roughage and grain often contain little zinc, supplementing the diet is a good option. This is particularly true for horses in training, growing foals or pregnant and lactating mares.
