This book provides a step-by-step introduction to the basics and first lessons from the ground, which also serve to make later work under the saddle and training in more difficult exercises much easier.
From the content:
For the dressage training of the horse, the classic work on the hand is a very valuable, but unfortunately often underestimated and therefore a far too rarely used means. This book introduces you step by step to the basics and first lessons, which also serve to make the later work under the saddle and the training in more difficult exercises much easier.
Oliver Hillberger systematically explains step by step the way to the correct and playfully easy training of the horse from the ground. A special focus is on the description of the side movements, which play a central role in gymnastics and preparation for difficult lessons. The images make the written explanations easy to understand and, thanks to special image technology, also clearly show sequences of movements.

Oliver Hilberger, trainer from Neulengbach (Vienna Woods) in Austria, is inspired by the French art of riding and gained experience in handicraft during stays in France and Spain. Today, working on the hand is an integral part of his training concept alongside work in the saddle for horses of various breeds. He attaches particular importance to making the sensible gymnastics of the horse accessible to every ambitious person. Comprehensible and easily understandable instructions make it possible for the recreational rider without extensive previous training to support his horse optimally by working on the hand. Oliver Hilberger has published numerous articles in specialist magazines so far.
